The presence of small voids in cellular concrete makes it possible to achieve low thermal conductivity of walls. In its production, Itong uses environmentally friendly raw materials:

A mixture of cement and sand mixed with water foams through the chemical interaction of aluminum and lime. Hydrogen gas uniformly forms spherical closed pores in the material. The mass, increased fivefold in volume, is grasped and cut into structural parts with thin strings according to specified dimensions. The strength of the products is given in an autoclave, where they are steamed for 12 hours at a temperature of 190°C under a pressure of 12 atmospheres.

9. Vapor permeability. The ability to “breathe” prevents rotting, subsidence, and mold formation in the walls.

10. Seismic resistance. In regions with increased seismic activity, such buildings reduce the consequences of destruction from earthquakes and other natural disasters.

11. Thermal insulation. Itong autoclave blocks have the lowest heat penetration coefficient.

12. Energy efficiency. Due to low thermal conductivity, structures made from autoclaved parts are highly energy-saving.

Compound

The composition of the aerated concrete block is a mixture of:

The basis of aerated concrete blocks is quartz sand. When aluminum is added to the mixture, its microelements, as a result of interaction with hydroxo groups, form aluminum oxide, as well as hydrogen, which gives the material porosity and turns it into aerated concrete.

Next, the aerated concrete block is placed in an autoclave oven, where it is compressed at a certain temperature and moisture level. As a result, thanks to crimping under the specified conditions, the final product is a new calcium silicate mineral that can withstand any chemical reactions.
